The stunning book cover drew me in, but the fantastic writing kept me turning the page. I loved everything about this debut novel by Tara Gilboy. There was nothing cliche about this magical story; it was filled with dark twists and turns that I did not see coming, and I loved it! The central theme of the story revolved around the internal conflict we all face of good versus evil and how our choices define us. I think every reader will be able to relate to Gracie's struggle.
